Meet Chef Aya

A love for real food and real connection.

Chef Aya attended the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City, where she studied Plant-Based, Health-Supportive Culinary Arts. Upon graduation, she applied her training in fine dining restaurants across New Jersey, refining her technique and deepening her respect for ingredient-driven cooking.

In 2019, Aya moved to Austin and began working as a Personal Chef, creating intimate dinners and private events for her clients. The following year, she became a Private Chef for a local family, traveling with them and developing a repertoire that balanced elegance with nourishment.

After several years in that role, Aya felt called to contribute to Austin’s growing food scene in a more personal way. Throughout her career, she has cooked extensively for clients with dietary restrictions and specific wellness goals, crafting meals that are as healing as they are delicious.

With Nourished, Aya returned to her roots — celebrating wholesome, intentional food made with care. Her mission is simple: to create meals that nourish the body, delight the senses, and bring people together.
